Hu Chen

Hu Chen is a Senior Principal Engineer at Cadence Design Systems since August 2022, previously serving as a Staff R&D Engineer and in various senior roles at Synopsys Inc from January 2016 to August 2022. Prior experience includes a Research Assistantship at Utah State University from August 2012 to August 2016 and an internship position at Synopsys Inc in the summer of 2015. Hu Chen began a career as a digital IC designer at Actions Semiconductor from April 2009 to July 2012. Education includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Utah State University (2012-2016), a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Tongji University (2002-2009), and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Tongji University (2002-2006).
