Tina Shoa

Head Of Research at Cadex Electronics Inc.

Tina Shoa has a strong background in research and academia. Tina began their career as a Design Engineer at ISC in 2000, before transitioning to a Research Assistant position at The University of British Columbia in 2006. Afterward, they worked as a Research Scientist at Automotive Fuel Cell Coorperation from 2010 to 2013. In 2013, Tina became the Head of Research at Cadex Electronics, focusing on battery modeling and characterization. Currently, they hold the position of Assistant Professor at New York Institute of Technology, where they continue to contribute to the field of research.

Tina Shoa has a PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on electrochemical devices, which they obtained from The University of British Columbia from 2006 to 2010. In addition, they completed a degree in Engineering Management from UBC from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science degree in MEMS from the University of Manitoba, which they attended from 2002 to 2005. Tina's undergraduate education was at the University of Applied Science and Technology, where they received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
