Mirela Almonte, CMP has a strong background in event management and conference planning. Mirela currently works as a Project Manager at Cadmium, starting in October 2022. Prior to this, Mirela worked at ASHP for ten years, where they held various roles including Manager of Meetings, Assistant Manager of Meetings, and Exhibition Coordinator. Mirela joined ASHP in October 2012 and left in October 2022. Before working at ASHP, Mirela worked at Benchmark Resorts and Hotels as a Conference Planning Manager from June 2010 to October 2012 and as a Reservations Supervisor from January 2009 to June 2010.
Mirela Almonte, CMP holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Marketing, which they obtained from Transilvania University of Brasov between 1998 and 2002. In 2014, they also acquired the certification of Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) from the Events Industry Council. Mirela further pursued their education at Montgomery College, where they completed an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Social Sciences, Administration, and Health (SSAH) starting from 2008, with an expected completion date in 2022.
