Nicolas Joyau currently serves as Président at Caen la mer since June 2020, while also holding the position of Vice-Président in charge des Mobilités et des Infrastructures. Since March 2014, Nicolas has been Maire-Adjoint at Ville de Caen, focusing on Urbanisme, renouvellement urbain, Développement Durable, and Energie. Additionally, Nicolas has been President of the SM DE PRODUCTION ET DE DISTRIBUTION D'EAU POTABLE DE LA REGION DE CAEN since May 2014 and served as Vice-Président in charge of Travaux and Finances. Previous roles include Vice-Président at syvedac from January 2017 to August 2020 and Engineer at Artelia from August 2007 to July 2014, where responsibilities included project management and regulatory documentation related to water and sanitation. Educational qualifications include a degree in hydraulic engineering from Ecole nationale du Génie de l'Eau et de l'Environnement de Strasbourg, completed between 2004 and 2007, and preparatory classes at CPGE lycée Victor Hugo Caen from 2001 to 2004.
