Salil Kulkarni

Salil Kulkarni is the Interim EVP & CIO at Caesars Entertainment. Salil previously served as the EVP & Interim Chief Information Officer at Caesars Entertainment Corporation from October 2019 to July 2020. In this role, they were responsible for managing all aspects of technology operations and advancing Caesars’ technology by leading an industry-first, mobile-enabled, internal and customer-focused transformation (5-year horizon) in 2016.

The initiative includes transforming every aspect of the business: (1) back office, finance, HR, legal, compliance, and (2) cloud-based hotel property management, sales/marketing and gaming systems, corporate-wide infrastructure, cybersecurity and governance procedures while utilizing offshore vendors. Kulkarni increased transparency, collaboration, products, efficiency, and created new revenue streams by modernizing legacy systems. Prior to their role as EVP & Interim CIO, Kulkarni served as SVP & Chief Technology Officer at Caesars Entertainment Corporation from January 2016 to December 2019 and as Company Officer & Chief Technology Officer at HavenBrook Homes from January 2015 to December 2016. Salil also served on the Board of Advisors at Alora Home Health Software from January 2015 to December 2019.
