Marcelo dos Santos

Marcelo dos Santos has extensive experience in financial services, particularly within Latin America and the Caribbean. Currently serving as a Senior Executive - Advisor and Vice President of the Private Sector at CAF - banco de desarrollo de América Latina y el Caribe since September 2015, Marcelo is responsible for investment deals with financial institutions and managing strategic projects. Previous roles include Senior Relationship Banker at HSBC and Citibank, where Marcelo managed corporate relationships, developed banking products, and identified business opportunities. Marcelo holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidade Católica de Brasília and is currently a PhD candidate in Finance at FGV EAESP, along with multiple postgraduate degrees and certificates in finance and governance.
