Thomas Black

Thomas Black is currently a Project Engineer at Cahill Contractors, a position held since February 2023, after previously serving as an intern with the same company from October 2017 to February 2019, working on a modular affordable housing development project. Prior to this role, Thomas worked as a Barista at HUDSON BAY CAFE, INC. from June 2017 to January 2023 and as a Server at 3rd and U Cafe from June 2021 to October 2021. Additionally, a research assistant position at the University of California, Davis from October 2021 to May 2022 involved evaluating food safety training programs for immigrant farmers in the Sacramento region. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Environmental Design from the University of California, Davis, attained in June 2022, and has education from Diablo Valley College and Bishop O'Dowd High School.
