Greg Register

Greg Register has a vast work experience spanning over several companies. Greg is currently working for CAI International, Inc. as the Chief Investment Officer since January 2023. Before that, they held the position of Executive Vice President at Beacon Intermodal Leasing from February 2020 to January 2023, and Senior Vice President from January 2017 to February 2020. Prior to that, they worked at MUFG as the Managing Director, Chief Risk Officer- BTMU Capital Leasing & Finance from September 2011 to January 2016, and as Vice President, Portfolio Manager from June 2006 to September 2011. Additionally, Greg worked at GE Capital as the Treasurer- GE Commercial Equipment Finance from August 2003 to June 2006, and as the Capital Markets Manager from December 1999 to July 2003. Greg'searliest work experience was with GE, where they held the position of GE Corporate Audit Staff from July 1997 to November 1999, and Sales Engineer/Technical Leadership Program- Energy Industry from June 1991 to June 1997.

Greg Register received their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Greg further pursued their education by completing a Master of Science degree in Finance from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business. Additionally, Greg obtained a certification in CFA from the CFA Institute in 2007. Greg also briefly attended UCL for Engineering/Finance studies but did not obtain a degree from there.
