Andrea Silva has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Andrea began their career as a Certified Energy Manager at the Department of Energy & Environment (DOEE) in 2017. Andrea then transitioned into the role of an Undergraduate Intern at Medtronic, where they gained valuable experience from 2017 to 2018. Following this, they joined The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company as an Undergraduate Intern in 2019. Later that year, Andrea joined Medtronic again, this time as a QA Inspector II from 2019 to 2020. In 2020, they moved to Viant Medical, working as a Validation Engineer for a few months. Andrea then returned to Medtronic as a Quality Regulations Affairs Contingent from 2020 to 2021. Currently, Andrea is employed at CAI as a Validation Engineer since 2021.
Andrea Silva completed their education in a chronological order. Andrea started in 2014 and completed an Associate's degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from Universidad del Turabo Escuela de Ingeniería in 2016. Andrea then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidad del Turabo, which they completed in 2020.
After completing their Bachelor's degree, Andrea obtained additional certifications. In 2019, they achieved the OSHA 30 certification from the OSHA Safety Training Institute. In 2020, they acquired the certification for Understanding Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Process Validation from EQVAL Consulting Group.
Currently, Andrea is pursuing a Master's degree in Manufacturing Competitiveness from Universidad Politécnica de Puerto Rico, which they started in 2021 and is expected to complete in 2023.
