Validation Engineer at CAI

Michael Miller has a diverse work history spanning multiple industries. Michael began their career as a Training Assistant / UAT at the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board - SVRS in 2006. From there, they transitioned to the Wisconsin Army National Guard, where they served as a Helicopter Mechanic/Crew Chief for 12 years. In 2012, they joined the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Lab/Research Assistant before moving on to become the Manager of Technician Services at Metallurgical Associates for a brief period in 2014. Miller then transitioned to Covance, where they worked as a Study Technician I and Study Technician II, specializing in infusion dosing.

In 2016, they joined NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes, LLC as a Process Engineering Specialist, primarily responsible for ensuring equipment readiness in production and R&D. Michael also served as a Validation Technician and later as a Validation Supervisor, where they managed the Equipment Control and Validation program and personnel.

In 2019, Miller joined Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals as an Equipment Engineer II before moving to their current role as a Validation Engineer at CAI in 2021.

Throughout their career, Miller has gained experience in management, equipment validation, process engineering, research, and technical roles, demonstrating their versatility and adaptability.

Michael Miller attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Geology and Geophysics. In addition, they have obtained various certifications including Cleaning Validation Principles Training Course and Pharma Water Generation USP WFI & PW Training Course from ISPE in April 2018, IQ, OQ, PQ Course from CfPA - The Center for Professional Advancement in September 2017, and certifications in Aviation Life Support Equipment and PLDC, although no specific institution or dates are provided for these certifications.
