Manahil Haroon

Manahil Haroon is currently serving as a Policy and Advocacy Fellow at CAIR-CA since March 2023, after completing an internship at the same organization in late 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Legislative Assistant in the Office of Assemblywoman Helene E. Weinstein from December 2019 to July 2021, and as a Legislative Intern for the New York State Assembly during the 2019 session. Additionally, Manahil dedicated time as a Volunteer and Tutor for New York for Syrian Refugees from 2017 to 2019, providing educational support to refugee families. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology and a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs, both from the University at Albany.
