Jaime Zamora

Jaime Zamora has a diverse work experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Jaime started their career as a Docente at Academia Ingenieros & Asociados in 2012, followed by teaching roles at Academia Campus and Academia Urquijo in 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Colaborador Investigador Científico at the Departamento de Matemática Aplicada.Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M).

In 2015, Jaime joined Innovalia Metrology as an Ingeniero Software, where they were responsible for developing software for industrial dimensional metrology applications. Jaime also worked on projects M3 and M3Analytics, implementing algorithms using C++ and C#. Jaime used code management tools such as Git and SVN for version control.

From 2017 to 2019, Jaime worked at Quental as a Data Science Team Lead/Scientific Computing. Jaime led projects in Data Science, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Machine Learning. Jaime implemented applications based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and utilized languages such as R and Python, along with OpenCV for image processing. Jaime also optimized processes using parallel programming on GPUs (OpenCL, CUDA) in C++.

From 2019 to 2021, Jaime worked at Bankia as a Técnico Hub Data Science (CoE-AI), where they focused on Quantum Machine Learning and Cognitive Platforms. Jaime conducted research and implemented Quantum Machine Learning algorithms for document classification and optimization problems in the financial sector. Jaime also served as the technical lead for the CoE-AI's Cognitive Platforms, overseeing the design and evolution of different components and pipelines.

Currently, Jaime works at CaixaBank as a Lead AI Engineer & Quantum Machine Learning. Their responsibilities include technical management of AI Services, software development for AI solutions using Machine Learning and Computer Vision techniques, and overseeing the MLOPS & DevOps platform for AI Services development.

Jaime Zamora obtained a Licenciatura degree in Licenciatura en Física from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. In 2019, they took a course on Introducción a la Computación Cuántica (6 ECTS) at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. In 2020, they completed a course on Quantum Computing Fundamentals from MIT xPRO. Furthermore, Jaime has additional certifications, including Professional Machine Learning Engineer from Google with a date of completion in November 2023, as well as certifications in Quantum Algorithms for Cybersecurity, Chemistry, and Optimization, Quantum Computing Fundamentals, and Introduction to Quantum Computing, all obtained from MIT xPRO in 2020.
