Chris Dunaway

Chris Dunaway is an experienced event management professional with a robust background spanning over two decades in diverse roles. Currently serving as Special Events Manager and Event Manager at Cal Performances since September 2017, Chris independently orchestrates operations for various performing arts engagements. As a Retreat Coordinator for REN XUE of the Americas since 2013, Chris manages logistics for large-scale residential retreats. The expertise also includes owning Dunaway Events, which encompasses event production and stage management for numerous performances, festivals, and conferences. Previous roles include Production Manager for Martina Navratilova, Operations Director for Pets Are Wonderful Support, and extensive experience with theatrical unions and local arts organizations, complemented by a Master of Science from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts from Iowa State University.
