Ken Thompson

Ken Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ken is currently the Vice President of Engineering at Calabrio, Inc. since 2023. Prior to this, they were the Director of R&D at Calabrio, Inc. from 2021 to 2023. Ken worked as a Senior Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from 2020 to 2021, where they advised non-profit healthcare organizations on cloud adoption and technology strategy. Ken also worked as a Consultant at PK in 2020, specializing in cloud architecture.

Before that, they were the VP of Infrastructure & Architecture at YA | Engage from 2019 to 2020, where they led a team responsible for maintaining core platforms and client applications. Ken also held the role of Enterprise Architect at YA | Engage from 2017 to 2019, leading digital transformation initiatives and implementing new technologies.

In 2014, Ken co-founded Civic Eagle and served as the Technical Co-Founder until 2018. Ken also co-owned and served as the Chief Architect at Digital Marauders from 2009 to 2016, leading a software engineering practice and overseeing various projects. Ken started their career as a Web Programmer at the University of Minnesota from 2011 to 2015, focusing on web development and managing high-traffic websites.
