Richard Garcia

Richard Garcia is an experienced education professional currently serving as the Tutoring and Learning Center Manager at Calbright College, where strategic initiatives for service offerings and student engagement for adult learners are led. Previously, Richard managed the AB540 and Undocumented Students Program at Bakersfield College, overseeing academic support for over 1300 students. Richard also contributed to student success at Cerritos College in the Extended Opportunity Programs and Services, developing individual strategies for more than 1200 students, and improved counseling services aligned with departmental goals. Richard holds a Doctor of Education from Pepperdine University, a Master's degree in Leadership Development from Chapman University, a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from California State University-Dominguez Hills, and an Associate of Arts from Cerritos College.
