Sharif S. has extensive work experience in the financial and real estate sectors. Sharif began their career in 1987 at First Interstate Bank, where they developed proprietary systems to manage interest rate risk. Sharif later joined Quantitative Risk Management, where they implemented the QRM System at various financial institutions and designed improvements to the Hedge Optimization Module.

In 2001, Sharif joined TradeLink, LLC, where they developed a profitable proprietary index option arbitrage model and hedging strategy. Sharif then moved to Lynx Capital Partners, LLC in 2002, conducting research and development of short-term arbitrage trading strategies and creating programming for real-time market data analysis.

From 2003 to 2013, Sharif held multiple roles at Bank of America, including Senior Vice President and 1st Vice President. Sharif initiated and managed analytical and reporting systems, advised the Asset/Liability Committee on risk oversight, and implemented a customized version of the Quantitative Risk Management System for mortgage market risk management.

In 2014, Sharif joined Strategic Holdings as Senior Vice President of Business Development, analyzing commercial real estate acquisitions and developing marketing materials for capital raising purposes. Sharif then moved to CALCAP Real Estate Advisors, Inc. as Senior Vice President of Investments, conducting detailed underwriting analysis and overseeing the acquisition of 24 properties.

Throughout their career, Sharif has demonstrated strong analytical skills, expertise in risk management, and the ability to develop and implement complex financial systems.

Sharif S. holds a Master of Science degree in Finance from the Illinois Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Loyola University Chicago from 1997 to 1998. Sharif began their academic journey by completing a Bachelor's degree in Finance from California State University-Los Angeles between 1985 and 1989.
