Scott C. began their career in 1992 as a Software Engineer for Computational Diagnostics, Inc. In 1995, they joined Galt Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer, where they wrote a stock quote server and advanced stock graphing/charting engine. In 1997, Scott moved to Intuit as a Senior Software Engineer in the investments group of Intuit's Quicken.com website. Scott wrote and maintained Intuit's stock quote server and portfolio products. In 1998, Scott joined Altavista as a Principal Engineer, working with a small swat-team to develop and deploy the initial version of MyAltaVista in 6 weeks. In 1999, they became the Director of Search Technologies for Bigvine and AllBusiness, where they managed a group of senior engineers and developed an e-commerce search engine. In 2001, Scott worked as an Engineering Consultant for Visiowave, doing pre-sales engineering and technical support for North American customers and potential customers. Scott also wrote their Web Security Center product for small installations. Scott then moved to Yahoo in 2003 as an Engineering Lead. In 2007, they joined eBay as an Engineering Manager. Finally, in 2021, Scott became a Senior Software Engineer at Guide-Rails, where they are responsible for developing back-end Go services, integrating 3rd party security tools, and creating front-end Javascript user interfaces. Scott is also utilizing an Agile software model.

Scott C. attended Carnegie Mellon University from 1988 to 1994 where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and Mathematics.
