Helen McMorran

Helen McMorran has a diverse and extensive work experience. Helen has recently served as the Head of ICT at Caledonia Housing Association Limited since 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Operational Support and Innovation at Scottish Forestry in 2022. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at Viewpoint Housing Association, first as the Director of Business Support, then as the Head of Business Performance, and later as the Business Systems Manager. Before joining Viewpoint, they were the Head of ICT Strategy & Development at ARK Housing Association from 2002 to 2014. Helen also has experience as a Site Computer Manager at BBSRC from 1993 to 2002, and as a Systems Database Administrator at Disability Scotland from 1990 to 1993.

Helen McMorran completed their education at multiple institutions. Helen obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from The Open University, although the specific start and end years are unknown. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Strategic ICT Leadership from Edinburgh Napier University, attending from 2013 to 2015. In 2020 to 2021, they furthered their education at Edinburgh Napier University and earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration. Apart from their formal degrees, Helen McMorran also obtained certifications, including AgilePM® Foundation from APMG International in January 2022 and ITIL® 4 Foundation CPD from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2021.
