Duncan Mpofu CA(Z) has a diverse work experience in finance and administration. Duncan Mpofu currently holds the role of Head of Finance - Zim Operations at Caledonia Mining, where they started in July 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Group Financial Manager at the same company from July 2022 to June 2023.

Before joining Caledonia Mining, Duncan worked at Blanket Mine, a subsidiary of Caledonia Mining Corporation. Duncan Mpofu held the position of Head of Finance and Administration from December 2020 to June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Finance Manager at the same company from October 2016 to November 2020.

Duncan has also worked as a Finance Manager at Profeeds (Pvt) Ltd, a subsidiary of Progroup & Innscor Africa Ltd, from April 2016 to September 2016.

Duncan Mpofu'searlier experience includes working at Delta Beverages Pvt Ltd, where they held the roles of Management Accountant (Northern Region) from June 2013 to March 2016 and Finance and Administration Manager from April 2012 to May 2013. During their time at Delta Beverages, Duncan gained experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and management of capital projects.

Duncan began their career at Ernst & Young as an Audit Supervisor from July 2007 to March 2012, where they gained expertise in auditing, financial reporting, and assurance.

Duncan Mpofu CA(Z) obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting (Honors) from the National University of Science and Technology (ZW) from 2003 to 2007. In 2011, they completed Board 2 in Accounting at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe. Duncan Mpofu pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Taxation in Taxation at the Institute of Certified Tax Accountants from 2015 to 2016. Duncan also holds additional certifications as a Certified Tax Accountant from ICTA and as a Chartered Accountant from ICAZ.
