Alex Hall

Alex Hall has a diverse work experience in engineering and technology roles. Currently, they serve as the Head of Engineering at Calendly, where they have been since 2019. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Engineering at Calendly from 2021 to 2023. Before joining Calendly, they worked as an Engineering Manager at Calendly from 2019 to 2021. Alex also served as the Chief Technology Officer at Cyrus Corp, LLC starting in June 2019. Prior to these roles, they worked at The Home Depot in various positions. Alex was a Software Engineering Manager from 2018 to 2019 and a Staff Engineer from 2016 to 2018. Before that, they worked at Pivotal Labs/The Home Depot as a Senior Software Engineer from 2014 to 2016. Alex's earlier experience includes Developer and Lead Developer roles at Alfa Insurance and various positions at The Home Depot. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in engineering management, software development, and project leadership.

Alex Hall obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General from The University of Alabama, where they attended from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their degree, Alex Hall also obtained certifications as a Certified Scrum Developer from Scrum Alliance in October 2014, and as a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in January 2014.
