Derek Gorgichuk

Derek Gorgichuk is an experienced professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as an Account Manager for Calfrac Well Services since October 2013, specializing in hydraulic fracturing and coiled tubing services. In this role, Derek aids in establishing business plans, advises on new markets, implements strategic initiatives, and ensures reliable service for clients. As a Co-Founder of Academic Essentials since April 2016, Derek addresses the challenges faced by high school students transitioning to post-secondary education. Previously, Derek held various managerial positions at Schlumberger from May 2007 to September 2013, including Country Manager for Algeria, overseeing sizable teams and significant revenue. Derek holds an M.B.A. from the Haskayne School of Business and a BSc in Physics from the University of Regina.
