Amanda Juhasz

Amanda Juhasz is a seasoned professional in crime and intelligence analysis, currently serving as a Crime and Intelligence Analyst with the Calgary Police Service since July 2019. In this role, Amanda analyzes diverse information sources to develop recommendations aimed at addressing crime and social disorder, focusing on offender management and resource deployment. Prior experience includes working as a Probation Officer for the Government of British Columbia, where Amanda supervised individuals under the provincial justice system while honing case management skills for those with complex mental health and addiction issues. Amanda also served as a Community Outreach Counsellor for the Correctional Service of Canada, managing a pilot program for high-risk offenders. Amanda holds a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of the Fraser Valley, a Graduate Diploma in Conflict Analysis and Management from Royal Roads University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The University of British Columbia.
