Mark Neufeld

Mark Neufeld O.O.M., MSt (Cantab) currently serves as Chief Constable of Calgary Police Service since June 2019. Prior to this, Mark held the position of Chief of Police at Camrose Police Service from July 2017 to June 2019, where Mark led a dedicated team in providing comprehensive policing services. Mark's extensive experience with Edmonton Police Service includes roles as Superintendent i/c Southwest Division, Superintendent i/c Criminal Investigations Division, and Inspector in the Human Resources Division. Mark also served as Director of Investigations for the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) during a secondment from Edmonton Police Service. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Applied Criminology and Police Management from the University of Cambridge and various executive programs focused on policing and management.
