Joey Gomez, MS, has a diverse work experience across multiple industries. Starting in 2014, Joey worked as a Work-Study Intramural Office Assistant at Baylor SLC - Campus Recreation. In 2015, they joined ProScribe as an Emergency Department Scribe and later became a Traveling Trainer. From 2015 to 2016, Joey served as an Intake Coordinator at Alamo Hospice, where they coordinated hospice referrals and ensured effective communication between the clinical team and the patient's family. In 2017, Joey joined Caliber Healthcare Solutions as a Recruiting Consultant, and over the years held various positions such as Senior Recruiter, Physician Recruiter Trainer, Senior Recruiter for the Anesthesia Division, Producing Recruiting Manager, Recruiting Manager, and currently serves as the Director of Recruiting. Joey is passionate about healthcare and leadership development, and works collaboratively with business development, marketing, and recruiting leaders to source high-caliber clinicians for locum tenens staffing.

Joey Gomez, MS has a Master of Science in Medical Science from the University of North Texas Health Science Center School of Public Health, obtained from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Medical Humanities at Baylor University from 2012 to 2015. Joey also attended The University of Texas at San Antonio from 2010 to 2012, where they studied Chemistry. Before pursuing higher education, Joey Gomez attended Tom C. Clark High School from 2008 to 2010 and Poway High School from 2006 to 2008.
