Rodney Pennywell

Rodney Pennywell has a strong background in management consulting, digital transformation, and enterprise solutions. Rodney is currently the Capture Director at CALIBRE Systems, Inc., where they lead the capture of new business opportunities in the Huntsville, Alabama market. Previously, they worked as a General Manager at tiag® and as a Senior Program Manager at Alutiiq International Solutions, where they managed multiple Enterprise Resource Planning and solution environments for the Army. Rodney also has experience in business development, having led capture efforts for missile defense programs at General Dynamics Information Technology. Additionally, they have served in various leadership roles in the City of Huntsville and Madison, AL, including as Chair of the Mayor's Green 13 Council and the Communications Subcommittee for Madison's School Task Force. Rodney is a trusted IT thought leader with a focus on delivering comprehensive, creative solutions that exceed customer expectations.

Rodney Pennywell has a diverse education history. Rodney obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Texas A&M University between 1982 and 1987. During the same time period, they also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology from the same institution. In 2008, Rodney attended the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and completed The Executive Program. Additionally, in April 2016, they obtained a certification in the Program Manager's Course (PMT 401) from the Defense Acquisition University.
