Suvrajit Saha

Suvrajit Saha is a Senior Scientist in Discovery Technologies at Calico Life Sciences, with extensive experience in immunology and cellular dynamics. Prior to this role, Saha spent several years at the University of California, San Francisco, as an Associate Specialist and AHA & UCSF PBBR Independent Postdoctoral Fellow, leading an interdisciplinary study on immune cell behavior in response to injury and disease, utilizing advanced techniques such as genome editing and live cell imaging. Saha has also served as a Teaching Assistant, focusing on microscopy courses, and held positions at the National Centre for Biological Sciences as both a Short-term Postdoctoral Scholar and Graduate Student Researcher, where innovative fluorescence biophysics tools were employed to understand cellular organization. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Cell Biology and Biophysics from the National Centre for Biological Sciences, an MS in Life Sciences from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, and a BSc in Microbiology from the University of Calcutta.
