Tony Promessi

Tony Promessi is a seasoned professional in facilities management and life support systems within the marine and aquatic sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Facilities at the California Academy of Sciences since August 2016, Tony brings extensive experience from previous roles, including Director of Life Support and Facilities at The Marine Mammal Center from April 2004 to August 2016, and Manager of Life Support Systems at the Aquarium of the Pacific from January 1997 to April 2004. Earlier in the career, Tony held the position of Director of Life Support and Facilities at the Aquarium of the Bay from January 1995 to January 1997. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Marine Engineering from California Maritime Academy, completed in 1995.
