Ari S. serves as a Deputy Attorney General at the California Department of Justice since April 2022, providing litigation counsel for the State of California in individual and class-action civil-rights cases related to alleged violations of the United States Constitution. Prior to this role, Ari S. worked as a Post-Bar Graduate Law Clerk for the City of San Diego from August 2021 to March 2022, and completed a Law Student Clinic Internship at Albemarle County Commonwealth Attorney's Office from August 2020 to May 2021. Additional experience includes serving as a Certified Law Clerk at the Orange County District Attorney’s Office from April 2020 to December 2020 and a Legal Intern at the San Joaquin County District Attorney's Office during the summer of 2019. Ari S. earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2021 and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Binghamton University in 2017, along with an academic experience at East China Normal University in 2015.
