Daniel Ambar

Daniel Ambar is currently serving as a Deputy Attorney General at the California Department of Justice since February 2024. Prior to this role, Daniel worked as an Associate at Latham & Watkins from February 2021 to June 2022 and held various legal positions at WarnerMedia, including Senior Counsel and Counsel from September 2019 to January 2021. Daniel was also a Counsel at O'Melveny & Myers LLP for eight years, working on general civil litigation matters across diverse business sectors. Daniel started in the legal field as a Summer Associate at O'Melveny in 2010 and has experience as an intern at Meitar Liquornik Geva & Leshem Brandwein in Israel. Before entering law, Daniel served as Vice President at Bez Ambar Inc., a high-end diamond jewelry manufacturer. Daniel holds a JD from the University of Michigan Law School and a BA in Computer Science and English Literature from Brandeis University.
