Jesica Gonzalez

Jesica Gonzalez, Esq. serves as a Deputy Attorney General at the California Department of Justice since August 2022, following a legal internship within the same department where Jesica drafted legal briefs and conducted extensive legal research. Prior experience includes a role as a Judicial Assistant I at Fresno Superior Court, handling various clerical duties and processing legal documents from January 2017 to July 2022. Jesica's background also features internships with Kids in Need of Defense, preparing legal filings for unaccompanied children, and as an Institute Fellow focused on research on the cash bail system.
