Joshua Bart is a Deputy Attorney General at the California Department of Justice since November 2023, following a distinguished career in various legal roles. Prior to this position, Joshua served as a Partner at Lewis Brisbois from April 2018 to October 2022, where responsibilities included case management and strategic litigation planning. As a Senior Associate Attorney at Low, Ball & Lynch from January 2014 to January 2018, Joshua specialized in trial court motions and complex litigation matters. Previous experience includes roles as an Associate Attorney at Carlson Calladine & Peterson, and a Contract Attorney at Zitrin & Frassetto, along with law clerk positions at the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office and the United States District Court. Joshua holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from Brandeis University.
