Andrew Renshaw is a seasoned hydrogeologist with extensive experience in groundwater management and geological assessments. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Geologist at the California Department of Water Resources since January 2020, Andrew provides expertise in hydrogeology and Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) implementation. Previously, Andrew held the position of Engineering Geologist at the State Water Resources Control Board, where oversight of the SGMA's success was a primary responsibility. Andrew's earlier roles included Associate Hydrogeologist at West Yost Associates, Research Assistant at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Project Geologist at SCHUTZE & Associates, Inc., and Project Coordinator at Conestoga-Rovers & Associates. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Hydrogeology from California State University - East Bay and a Bachelor of Science in Geosciences from California State University, Chico.
