Jackson Cook

Jackson Cook is an Engineering Geologist with extensive experience in groundwater management and geological investigations, currently employed at the California Department of Water Resources since July 2019. Roles include oversight of drilling operations, design, and construction of groundwater monitoring wells, and management of Sustainable Groundwater Management grants. Previous positions feature internships at Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District and Citadel Environmental Services, where responsibilities encompassed environmental laboratory work, field tasks, and technical report preparation. Cook holds a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science with a specialization in Geohydrology from UC Santa Barbara and has demonstrated leadership skills through roles such as Co-President of the Muckers Coterie and Administrative Vice President for UCSB's Residence Hall Association.
