Dennis Burke is a seasoned professional musician with over 35 years of experience, performing extensively across North America, Europe, and Asia, and collaborating with renowned jazz artists such as Mose Allison and Herb Ellis. Since 2011, Dennis serves as Adjunct Faculty at Cal State Long Beach and has been the President and Lead Sound Designer at Letter from the King Productions since 1996. As a multi-award-winning composer, Dennis has contributed to over 120 films, with notable work featured on television and at international festivals. In academia, Dennis held the position of Associate Professor and Associate Dean at Emily Carr University of Art + Design from 1987 until 2018, focusing on the intersection of sound and visual arts. Additionally, Dennis served as a board member for the International Digital Media and Arts Association and has lectured at various institutions, including Occidental College and Chapman University. Dennis holds an MFA in Composition and Film Sound from Simon Fraser University.
