Boris Ricks

Boris Ricks, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Political Science Department at California State University, Northridge, specializing in Racial Politics, Urban Politics, and Public Policy since March 2008. Prior to this role, Boris served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City from August 2006 to May 2008 and was a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow at Pomona College from August 2004 to May 2006. Additional experience includes being an Executive Board Member of NCOBPS from 2000 to 2008, and serving as adjunct faculty at Santa Monica College and the University of Southern California. Boris earned a Ph.D. in Political Science with a focus on Public Policy from the University of Southern California between 1994 and 2003.
