Daniel Martin

Daniel Martin is an experienced educator specializing in special education, currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at California Virtual Academies since November 2021, after holding a similar position at Hemet Unified School District from March 2016 to October 2021. At Hemet Unified, Daniel successfully implemented small group instruction to enhance students' understanding of core subjects for grades 6 through 12. Prior experience includes working as an Instructional Assistant at Temecula Valley Unified School District, where Daniel supported over 35 students in subjects like Algebra I and Expository Reading. Prior to transitioning to education, Daniel served in the United States Marine Corps, taking on leadership roles such as Infantry Unit Leader and Guard Chief.
