Greg Baum

Greg Baum is an experienced technical manager and engineer with extensive expertise in aeronautical engineering and a strong background in research and development. Currently serving as RDTI Technical Manager at Callaghan Innovation since July 2021, Greg leads a team of scientists and engineers to support New Zealand businesses through the R&D tax incentive scheme. Previous roles include managing aerospace certification teams at the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand, where Greg oversaw aircraft design assessments and regulatory compliance. Greg's career also encompasses significant engineering responsibilities at companies such as Jaguar Cars, Siemens Gas Turbines, and Formway, demonstrating a solid track record in project management, technical assessment, and team leadership. Greg holds a First Class Honours degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Loughborough University.
