Jenna W

Jenna W has extensive work experience in the field of information security. Jenna is currently serving as the Deputy Chairperson for the Government Information Security Forum (GISF), where they provide overall leadership and coordination for the forum. Prior to this role, Jenna worked as the Chief Information Security Officer at Callaghan Innovation, where they led the transition to a new enterprise delivery model. Jenna has also held roles in cyber security and security enablement at the New Zealand Parliament. Before entering the field of information security, Jenna worked as a product developer and continuous improvement specialist at LexisNexis and as a senior talent acquisition consultant at Global Attract.

Jenna W has a diverse education history. From 2019 to 2020, they attended the Royal New Zealand Police College, where they pursued a National Diploma in Intelligence with a focus on Intelligence and Analysis. Following that, from 2020 to 2022, Jenna pursued a Masters of Strategic Studies at Victoria University of Wellington. Jenna'sfield of study for the Master's program included Security, Conflict and Peace, Counter-terrorism, Cyber, and International Relations.

In addition to their degrees, Jenna has obtained several certifications. In May 2022, they received the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org. In July 2021, they completed the Open Source Investigations / OSINT course provided by Toddington International Inc. Furthermore, Jenna acquired the "Assessing Cyber Security Risk" certification from Cyber 365 in November 2020. Additionally, they completed the New Zealand Certificate in Regulatory Compliance program offered by the New Zealand Government Regulatory Practice Initiative (G-REG) in May 2020. Other certifications include Risk Assessment and Management from Pluralsight in April 2020, Security Fundamentals Course from CompTIA in April 2020, and Introduction to Threat Intelligence from Pluralsight in March 2020. As far back as June 2017, Jenna gained the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from LexisNexis Legal & Professional Center for Continuous Improvement.
