Youhao Yang

Youhao Yang is a seasoned materials engineer with extensive experience in polymer development and product formulation. Currently serving as a Principal Materials Engineer at Callaway Golf since July 2023, Youhao Yang leads the development of innovative materials for golf ball cover applications. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Product Development Engineer at Celanese, where expertise in raw material selection and product line ownership was honed, and as a Research & Development Scientist at Polymer Dynamix, focused on thermoplastic elastomers. Additional experience involves business development and technical service at Mitsui Chemicals Group, research on flammability reduction at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and academic roles at Texas A&M University and National Taiwan University. Youhao Yang holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University.
