Danny Barr has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Currently, they serve as the VP Strategic Projects at Calligo, a global Data Transformation provider. Prior to their current position, Danny worked as the VP Cloud Sales at Calligo, where they focused on utilizing data to transform customer experiences and internal efficiencies. Danny also worked as the VP Revenue Operations at Calligo, optimizing systems, processes, and people responsible for generating revenue. Some of their key responsibilities included managing internal tools, pipeline analysis, monitoring KPIs, building customer-facing eCommerce solutions, and managing customer databases.

Before joining Calligo, Danny founded Cinnte Technologies, an IT Managed Service Provider based in Ireland, which was acquired by Calligo in 2020. Danny served as the Founder of Cinnte Technologies for over a decade. Danny'srole involved managing and ensuring the productivity and profitability of client businesses by taking care of their IT needs.

Additionally, Danny has experience as a Director at Cavan Chamber of Commerce and as a Lecturer/Security Administrator at Cavan Institute. During their time at Cavan Institute, they were responsible for Microsoft Forefront deployment and management, lecturing on security systems technology courses, and developing a computer forensics course.

In the early stages of their career, Danny worked as a Service Engineer at GM Security & Fire Solutions, where they gained valuable experience in the field.

Danny Barr has a strong education background in computer security and forensics. In 2004, they enrolled in the Technology University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus and pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computers & Business. During their tenure from 2004 to 2006, they gained knowledge in various areas including Networks, Database Systems, Systems Software, and Systems Analysis & Design.

Building upon this foundation, Danny Barr then pursued a higher level of education and enrolled at Dublin City University in 2008. Over the course of the next year, they successfully completed their Master of Science degree in Security & Computer Forensics, earning high honors.

To further enhance their skills and expertise, Danny Barr attended SANS in 2012. This educational experience allowed him to specialize in Network Penetration Testing & Ethical Hacking, and they obtained the GIAC-GPEN degree.

In addition to their academic degrees, Danny Barr also holds a certification as a GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN), which they obtained in July 2012 from GIAC.
