Basma Alkhayer

Basma Alkhayer has a diverse range of experience in various roles and industries. Basma worked as a Project Manager at Calo Inc. starting in 2023. Prior to that, Basma was a Co-Founder of The Little Black Caravan from 2017 to 2023, where they managed all F&B and day-to-day operations. Basma also acted as a Brand Manager at Kitopi from 2022 to 2022, and as a Marketing Manager at Audi Bahrain from 2016 to 2017. In their role at Audi Bahrain, Basma developed marketing strategies, managed the marketing budget, and oversaw the company's marketing activities. Before that, they worked as a Marketing Executive at Audi Bahrain from 2014 to 2015, where they contributed to the yearly marketing and PR plans. Earlier in their career, Basma gained experience as a Marketing, PR, and Social Media Assistant at AlRiwaq Art Space from 2013 to 2014, where they coordinated exhibitions and built relationships with artists and art critics. Basma also served as a PR and Events Assistant at the United Nations from 2010 to 2013, where they focused on building foundations for assigned projects and researching project management techniques.

Basma Alkhayer received a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Bahrain, completing their studies from 2004 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in Child Nutrition and Cooking and Creative Thinking: Techniques and Tools for Success from Coursera in April 2023.
