About
The Engineering Team at Calpine Corporation is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and compliance of the company's natural gas and geothermal electricity generation assets. This includes managing and maintaining pipeline integrity, mechanical and control systems of turbines, gas control operations, plant engineering, and conducting operations analysis. The team also focuses on electrical engineering, corrosion prevention, instrumentation and calibration, and the development of energy storage solutions, all aimed at enhancing efficiency and reliability of power generation in competitive markets.
