Randy Voland

Vice President at Calspan Corporation

Randy Voland has extensive experience in the field of hypersonic propulsion and advanced aerospace disciplines. Randy began their career at NASA as a Research Engineer and Technology Manager, where they worked for 25 years until their retirement in 2006. Afterward, they co-founded ACENT Laboratories LLC, where they served as Vice President and Principal Scientist, focusing on research and development in hypersonics and clean/alternative energy technologies. In 2021, they became the Vice President of Calspan Corporation. Additionally, they were also the President of GSX Research LLC for a brief period in 2006.

Randy Voland has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, obtained from 1979 to 1984. Randy then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Fluid Mechanics and Thermal Sciences from The George Washington University, completing it between 1985 and 1991. Lastly, Randy attended Arizona State University from 2001 to 2002, studying Bioengineering.
