Eileen brings to Investments Team at Calvert Impact Capital a specialization in community development and racial equity, and has supported numerous engagements advising investors to identify and implement ESG and impact investing strategies.
While earning her MBA at Berkeley Haas, she was founding partner of the Haas Impact Fund and helped Project Equity and Capital Impact Partners build strategic initiatives to increase capital access in historically disenfranchised communities. She also worked with the CIEO to address barriers facing underrepresented founders in UC Berkeley’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Prior to business school, Eileen was responsible for underwriting corporate credit solutions for MUFG’s clients in government, nonprofits, and financial institutions. She started her career in strategic consumer finance at Hyundai Capital after graduating from Stanford University with a degree in Management Science & Engineering. Eileen has served as chapter president of Project by Project, a national AAPI philanthropic leadership accelerator, and was selected as a fellow with the Southern California Leadership Network. Eileen grew up in Cambodia Town in Long Beach, CA, and continues to support community-centered organizations such as Social Justice Partners Los Angeles, Little Tokyo Community Investment Fund, and Chinatown Community for Equitable Development.
