Mike Beattie

Mike Beattie is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and software development across various industries. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Fortis since September 2021, Mike focuses on developing internal applications and processes for data management. As the Founding Partner and CEO of Mediamano, SL since 2008, Mike leads the production of innovative workflow and process management software for the broadcast media sector. Additional roles include Information Technology Lecturer at Cámara de Comercio e Industria de Madrid and IEB, where Mike teaches courses on Python and OSINT. Mike has also held leadership positions at major organizations, including Grupo Televisa, CNN, ESPN, and Sky News Australia, driving significant projects in media asset management and digital media workflows. Mike holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Electronic & Electrical Engineering and an MBA from The University of Manchester and the Alliance Manchester Business School, respectively.
