Mika Matikainen

Mika Matikainen is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in design and leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as Creative Director and Co-founder of Paloceras since September 2022, Mika is instrumental in offering innovative limited-edition products at the intersection of digital and physical realms. Additionally, as Designer in Residence with Paloceras at the Mouraria Innovation Centre in Lisbon, Mika contributes to supporting creative industry ventures. Other notable positions include Partner at AirImpact, Founder and CEO of Unleonis, and a founding member of the byFounders Collective. Mika's academic achievements include Executive MBA degrees from the Berlin School of Creative Leadership and Steinbeis Hochschule, as well as a Master of Advanced Studies in Design from ECAL. Previous leadership roles also encompass co-founding Wolt, a tech company enhancing local communities, and advising various innovative platforms like Zippie.
