Mark Leyva

Mark Leyva has extensive experience in program and project management within the defense and engineering sectors, currently serving as Program Manager 2 at HII Technical Solutions since February 2020. Previous roles at AMSEC LLC and Huntington Ingalls Industries, including Lead Test Engineer and Systems Test Engineer, showcase expertise in engineering and testing. Mark's career began in the US Navy as a Nuclear Machinist Mate, where responsibilities included operating nuclear reactor mechanical systems. Mark Leyva holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Old Dominion University, along with ongoing studies in Nuclear Engineering Technologies at Excelsior College, and has a foundational education from the US Navy Nuclear Power School.
