Shawn Smith

Shawn Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in graphic design, photography, and communications. Currently serving as a Communications Representative at Mission Technologies, a division of HII, since January 2020, Shawn has also contributed as a Freelance Artist at Essel Art Graphic Design + Photography since 1990, providing services such as logo and web design, photo editing, and illustration for notable clients including McLaren Port Huron and NCIS/LA. Additionally, Shawn has worked as a Creative Graphic Designer at Cedar Hill Graphics from 2015 to 2019 and has taught Advertising Design and Portfolio Presentation courses as an Adjunct Instructor at St. Clair County Community College. Previous roles include Graphic Artist at AT&T and Contract Graphic Artist at Boxcar Studio. Shawn holds an Associate’s Degree in Advertising Design from St. Clair County Community College and a High School Diploma from Algonac High School, with foundational skills in photography developed during high school.
