Brian Heasley

Brian Heasley has extensive experience in process chemistry, currently serving as Director of Process Chemistry at Cambrex since its acquisition of Avista Pharma Solutions in January 2019. Prior to this position, Brian held various roles at Avista Pharma Solutions, including Associate Director and Manager of Process Chemistry, as well as Senior Research Scientist. Brian's career began at Scynexis as a Senior Research Scientist and included a foundation in academia as a Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant at the University of Virginia. Brian holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Chemistry from Villanova University.
