Cheryl Y. Williams

Cheryl Y. Williams is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience in people and culture strategy, organizational development, and educational leadership. Currently serving as the Senior Director of People and Culture at Housing Families since August 2021, Cheryl is integral to the Executive Leadership Team, focusing on strategic planning, team wellness, and compliance with labor practices. In addition, Cheryl holds the role of President at CW Consultants, providing coaching and consulting services across various areas, including executive development and change management. Past roles include Chief Operating Officer and Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging at Housing Families, Professional Learning Manager and Director of Professional Development at WestEd, and Director of Marketing at the Close Up Foundation. Cheryl holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Development from George Mason University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Pre-Med from the University of Maryland.
